Epic Showdown

I was just walking in my neighborhood behind a mother and son (probably age 4 or 5). As we were all walking up the street, one of the local homeless guys was approaching. I actually like this guy- he’s kind of crazy, funny but doesn’t hassle you if you don’t have anything for him. As he got closer, he looked at the boy, arched his eyebrows and pointed as if to say “we have unfinished business.” Without hesitation, the boy looks at him and says “I’m gonna knock you out!” and continues to walk with his mother. no smile or anything — stone cold.

The mother does not acknowledge any of this.

As they get further away, the boy decides to reiterate his threat 2 more times yelling “I’m gonna knock you out!” down the street at the guy.

I looked around to see if anyone else was getting as much enjoyment out of this as I was, but apparently no body cares about the 5-year old / homeless guy showdown.
